• Our online stores allow you to place secure orders for any of our magazines or other products. If you don't have a Mastercard or Visa card, or don't want to use them on-line, you can still compile an order when visiting the store and send it in later.
• The Shopping Basket (or Cart) and Checkout process will show you clearly which items you've selected, and the encryption of the order is secure and straightforward too. Please note: your browser must be Java-compatible to send your credit-card details on-line, but you can send payment details to us separately.
• When you've got everything you want in your Shopping Basket, you can opt to have your list printed at the checkout without supplying any card details. Then just fax or mail that to us with your payment details. We'll already have received your list on-line, and we'll just be waiting for the payment from you.
• Security: We know of NO documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using powerful (128 bit) encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
  • Some browsers are configured to recognise online stores using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology by activating a padlock icon. Our chosen software's in-built encryption standards may not be recognised in this way by your browser: however, we believe the in-built encryption is actually a safer way of transacting business across the Internet than SSL. This is primarily because, unlike SSL, it never decrypts the orders containing your card details at the web site.
• You can Search each of our stores for any subject to which we've given major coverage (a film, TV series or star). Just click on the store's Search icon and enter your query (It may take a minute or two to comb through our hundreds of issues).
• We have a compact menu of magazine sections on the Index (or Contents) page. Click on a title to select the sub-sections – there is a page per year for each of our long-running magazines, and a page of subscription options to each one. Plus there's a Store Map available showing you all the store's sections at a glance.

• All of Visual Imagination's stock of publications are displayed here, in convenient sections of up to 12 issues for each magazine. For example, we have issues available for Starburst since 1985, and some issues of Film Review going back to 1976.

• This is a secure service: all orders, including subscriptions, are encrypted. No-one will be able to intercept your credit-card details.

• Our Special (quarterly) issues are detailed in their own sections, rather than the year of publication.

• We accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payments on-line. We have priced all our magazines in US Dollars ($) or UK Pounds (£) for simplicity, but you can order from anywhere in the world. Wherever you are shopping from, your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency.

• Only the major features in each issue - star interviews, for example - can be listed here. Please bear in mind that every issue contains much more than just the highlights we've indicated. Very few reviews are listed in the stores, for example.

• Prices are based on the magazines' current US or UK retail price, except where an issue is in short supply. These are more valuable and are priced accordingly.
