Legend of Sleepy Hollow Tim Burton will direct Sleepy Hollow, scripted by Seven man Andrew Kevin Walker, based on the classic 1819 terror tale by Washington Irving. The romantic Horror film will focus on Professor Ichabod Crane whose wild theories get him discredited and exiled to a New York hamlet where he happens upon the Headless Horseman myth. But will anyone believe his latest story of a ghostly ghoul stealing heads to see which one fits him best? Planet Argento Suspiria burger with Tenebrae fries anyone? Dario Argento has teamed up with business partner Umberto Ferri to open a theme Horror restaurant in the heart of Rome. Argento told the Italian press, The atmosphere and décor will take inspiration from the sets and storylines of my films. Ferri is the brains behind the Transylvania Rock Café chain theres one in Londons West Hampstead where Bloody Mary cocktails are served by vampires. Jaws Wars Ernie Hudson and Casper Van Dien will team up for director Bob Misiorowskis Shark Attack to be filmed in the same area the latter Starship Troopers hero filmed Tarzan and the Lost City. The story deals with genetic engineering experiments on sharks which cause them to destroy the African coastline. Hudson plays a ruthless property dealer who buys up the devastated land cheap in the wake of the destruction. Killer 'B's If the Fantasm Festival hasnt sated your appetite for Big Screen Fantasy, then head to the Barbican Centre in London for a further fix in August. The Barbican mounted that impressive Hammer retrospective a couple of years back and are now celebrating the cult, kitsch and schlock of Fifties American B movies. Amidst such classic fare as Don Siegels Invasion of the Body Snatchers, William Castles The Tingler, Jack Arnolds The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Andre De Toths House of Wax (both presented in 3D) will be I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Plan 9 from Outer Space and the Roger Corman trio The Little Shop of Horrors, The Man with the X-Ray Eyes and Attack of the Crab Monsters.
