Terry Gilliam's Tideland is a surreal modern fairy tale, that will take your breath away and leave you thinking at the same time!

After her mother dies from a heroin overdose, young Jeliza-Rose is taken by her father to a remote rural farmhouse. Her attempts to settle into her new life are made more difficult by the fact that her dad is hardly ever around. Left to her own devices, she befriends a seemingly disturbed local man and, as a result, her own behaviour becomes increasingly bizarre.
